Meet Henry: The Chief Bar Architect

In 2020 Henry began building bars, and what started as fun between friends resulted in a collection of bars installed across London and the South East. Having discovered a passion for joinery and delivering bars that clients love, Henry left his role and decided to start Barsmiths to continue the journey. All the work on this site has been designed, built and installed by Henry either with Barsmiths or in his previous role.

Barsmiths blends craftsmanship with hospitality with a passion for excellent design to turn simple pieces of wood, stone, and metal into party-starting, jaw-dropping showpieces at an affordable price. Based in South West London, we're within hopping distance of some of the best bars in the business and relish any opportunity to work with clients on building great bespoke bars.
